Once you have completed a discovery call and outlined your requirements we can provide a budgetary proposal and a cloud sandpit environment for you get a hands on. ProcessIQ is highly configurable so you will be able to simulate your production processes and all you need is a modern browser such as Edge, Crome, Firefox or Safari.

The implementation of ProcessIQ can be very lean and quick as the software is highly configurable. Customer have implemented our software in as little as 6 weeks.
New customers need to consider the following :

  • What hardware do I want to provide to my operators and to run the software?
  • Is there network infrastructure on the shop floor?
  • IT will always need to be involved.
  • Who will complete the system administration for backups and other maintenance related activity?
  • Who will be the system owner for ProcessIQ?
  • These types of systems require dedicated production resource to ensure a successful implementation.

At the discovery stage we work with you to understand your requirements and document a set of success criteria to ensure the free trial is focused on demonstrating business value. One of the great benefits of the free trial is the ability for you to demonstrate the system in context of your setting and provide confidence and justification for investment.

The free trial makes all aspects of the solution available so you can complete and end to end process from configuring a build process, creating a production order, working through issues to the creation of digital traceability using data capture and reports for build history. Where integrations occur we share real examples of how customers integrate to ERP or API’s for reporting.

When you start your 60 day free trial we provide an initial overview and on-boarding session and you will have access to a comprehensive WIKI and supporting how to’s to help you. We also provide support using our ticket system and scheduled regular on-line sessions where you have access to experts to assist with any queries.

ProcessIQ supports the use of your existing electronic process sheets. This enables you to configure and capture your quality data to be electronically, whilst accessing your existing process sheets. By doing so you can start to provide an electronic build and quality process combined on a screen, removing the need for paper. Over time you will migrate your legacy build sheets into ProcessIQ achieving all the benefits of an embedded quality and build process.

Yes we can take any work from the free trial and transport your data to your production environment.

Once your decision has been made we are confident that speaking to an existing customer will only provide more confidence in implementing ProcessIQ to transform your production operations.

Our API framework enables configurable ERP integration and we can provide specific examples of ERP to ProcessIQ and ProcessIQ to ERP workflows.

Example workflows are listed below.

Production orders from ERP
Bills of materials synchronisation from ERP
Operation confirmation to ERP
Unit completion to ERP
Order completion to ERP
Scrap & re-work to ERP

ProcessIQ is designed for quick, low-disruption implementation. Start with core paperless features (Professional bundle) and expand to advanced quality/variance modules over time. Many see value in weeks, with a free 60-day trial allowing safe testing alongside your current MRP/ERP without overhauling systems.

In HMLV environments, MRP can generate plans, but maintaining separate instructions/documents for each variant becomes unmanageable. ProcessIQ’s dynamic configurator creates a single master process that auto-adapts to product variations, ensuring operators see the correct version. Combined with real-time tracking and traceability, it minimizes errors, rework, and admin overhead—turning MRP-planned orders into efficient, error-free execution.

ProcessIQ offers modular MES capabilities that enhance MRP-driven operations, including:

  • Dynamic variance management (one master instruction adapts to thousands of configurations)
  • Real-time quality capture and enforcement at the point of work
  • Issue/non-conformance management during production
  • Full digital traceability and compliance records
  • Shop-floor insights (planned vs. actual build time, costs, performance)

Seamless integration with ERP/MRP for synchronized orders, BOMs, completions, and material usage feedback

Manufacturers in configure-to-order, high-mix low-volume (HMLV), and precision-driven sectors—such as photonics and lasers, energy & power solutions, and discrete manufacturing—benefit most. These environments struggle with hundreds/thousands of product variants, strict quality/compliance needs, and traceability demands where MRP planning falls short without strong execution support. ProcessIQ complements MRP by handling dynamic variances, real-time quality, and digital threads without disrupting existing planning tools.

MRP systems provide essential planning, but in today’s complex manufacturing—especially high-mix, low-volume, configure-to-order environments—planning alone doesn’t guarantee success. Shop-floor realities like product variants, operator errors, quality deviations, rework, and real-time issues can cause significant differences between MRP plans and actual outcomes. ProcessIQ adds the execution intelligence MRP lacks, replacing paper-based chaos with digital control, improving quality, reducing defects, and delivering actionable insights to make MRP planning more accurate over time.

ProcessIQ is a purpose-built Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that works alongside MRP systems (and ERP) to bridge the gap between planning and real-world execution. While MRP handles material planning and order generation, ProcessIQ digitizes shop-floor operations: dynamic electronic work instructions, real-time quality enforcement, variance management for complex configurations, issue handling, full digital traceability, and accurate planned-vs-actual data (build time, costs, performance). This feeds clean, contextualized records back to your MRP/ERP for better future planning and closes the loop on execution realities.

While MRP systems excel at planning material requirements and generating purchase/production orders, they often lack real-time visibility into shop-floor execution. They don’t monitor actual production progress, enforce quality checks, capture variances during build, manage complex product configurations, or provide traceability for every unit. In high-mix, low-volume, or configure-to-order environments, MRP alone can lead to discrepancies between planned and actual performance, hidden rework, quality issues, and inefficient operations—issues that require a complementary execution layer.

MRP systems (Material Requirements Planning systems) are planning tools that calculate material needs based on production schedules, bills of materials (BOMs), inventory levels, and demand forecasts. They answer the “what” and “when” of manufacturing by determining what materials to purchase or produce, when to order them, and in what quantities to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. MRP systems focus on upstream planning, inventory control, and procurement scheduling to support efficient production.

Start with the free 60-day trial — it includes full access to Professional and Premium features so you can experience dynamic instructions, variance handling, quality improvements, traceability, and MES insights in your own operations. Yes. ProcessIQ connects real-time shop-floor execution data (quality records, build times, costs, variances) bidirectionally with ERP, PLM, and other enterprise systems. This closes the loop between planning and production, eliminates silos, enables accurate planned-vs-actual comparisons, and supports better enterprise-wide visibility and decision-making.

ProcessIQ emphasizes quick, low-risk rollout with a high-impact, configurable approach. Many users gain value in weeks by starting small (e.g., paperless electronic instructions in the Professional bundle) and expanding modules over time. The gradual, no-disruption transition from paper makes adoption faster and safer than traditional MES overhauls. A free 60-day trial lets you test it live in your environment.
